Save The Mine Dogs Foundation
AMPS Albany Home
For sixty years they served the "Evil Empire" of the USSR. These dogs, who knew only the simple loyalty of their species, sacrificed everything for the Red Army.  The mine dogs were trained to destroy tanks by carrying their tilt-rod-trigger mine packs under enemy tanks.

Upon the collapse of the Soviet Union, these dogs were left to fend for themselves. Without  homes, some were shipped to war-torn Chechnya, while others wandered the lonely tundra of Siberia.

We are dedicated to saving the Mine Dogs.
How Can You Help?

Please make a generous donation to help us save some of these dogs and provide them a home.

What we Need

1. Cash, for trips to Russia, particularly the Kubinka area.

2. Kit donations, such as the new Tamiya Charb B-1bis, DML M4A1(76), or Trumpeter Comet, will be used to maintain morale amongst our dogsavers.

3. New Iwata airbrushes and supplies are also a critical morale booster.

4.
Cash is the best morale booster.

5. Wads of
cash.

6. Heavy piles of
cash would really be good.
