| Soviet KV-2 Artillery Tank |

| The KV-2 is a very famous tank considering how few were built - only about 250, hardly a blip by Soviet standards. I built the new-ish Trumpeter kit mostly OOTB, with just a 'zoom' PE set to add the grilles to the deck. The Trumpeter kit is terrific. The final photo shows it next to the old Tamiya KV-2. The old Tamiya KV-2 is on the left, modified with DML tracks and some home-made (crappy) mesh on the engine deck. The biggest differences are in the turret size and layout. |
