| This small diorama shows a disabled Soviet KV-2 being assaulted by German Pioneers. The story was inspired by the (true) tale of the single Soviet KV-2 crew at Rossayanye in 1941. Their tank single-handedly held off major German elements. The tank was finally knocked out by close assault from German assault engineers (Pioneers) who blew a track off with satchel charges, then got grenades into the tank. This is the old Tamiya KV-2, with DML figures and MK track. |
